Pravati Parida, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, stated on Friday that the fourth phase of the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana will be credited tomorrow, benefiting 18 lakh women beneficiaries.
This distribution will be place during a big event in Jaipur.
With this payout, the total number of women benefiting from the initiative would exceed 98 lakh.
“The state government has ensured that no eligible beneficiary is left out. Beneficiaries who are currently ineligible due to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) issues will be included in the scheme by March 8. And those who are newly included in the scheme will receive both the first and second installment money on March 8, International Women’s Day”, she informed.
Parida also stated that out of 3.38 lakh applicants, 59,000 have received NPCI clearance for the Subhadra scheme so far.
“The Subhadra Yojana is designed to empower women in the state, with the goal of transforming them into entrepreneurs. This initiative is not just a flagship program, but a comprehensive effort to foster women’s development and economic independence”, informed Parida.
