Hyundai has launched the Venue N Line, a sportier version of its popular compact SUV Venue, with prices starting at Rs. 12.16 lakh ex-showroom for the N6 variant and rising to Rs. 13.15 lakh for the top N8 variant. Aside from some cosmetic changes, the Venue N Line has a sportier suspension setup and exhaust note than the standard model.
The Hyundai Venue N Line is the brand’s second model in this segment, following the i20 N Line.
The Hyundai Venue N Line comes with a single powertrain option: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 120 bhp and 172 Nm of peak torque and mated to a 7-speed DCT.Unlike its sibling the i20 N Line, the Venue N Line gets paddle shifters but does not get the option of a 6-speed iMT.
The Hyundai i20 N Line gets dual exhaust pipes and a different exhaust note for a sportier look. The suspension and steering have been tweaked for sharper and more precise handling. It also has four-wheel disc brakes on all four corners.
The cosmetic changes for the Hyundai Venue N Line are significant, with red inserts on the roof rails, new 16-inch alloy wheels with red front calipers, N Line badging on the front bumper, and reworked front and rear bumpers with red accents below. The Venue N Line is available in five different colors, including three dual-tone options.
The interior is similar to the standard model, but it has an all-black theme with red accents and N Line logos around the cabin. It also comes with a new three-spoke steering wheel, similar to the one found on the Hyundai i20 N-Line.
The top N8 trim includes an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dashcam with dual cameras, connected car tech, a powered driver’s seat, an integrated air purifier, voice commands, ambient lighting, and a digital instrument cluster.
The Hyundai Venue N Line comes standard with ESP, hill start assist, and brake assist. While the N6 trim has dual airbags, the N8 trim has six airbags in total.
