This motorcycle has received several minor cosmetic and mechanical updates over the years. While it was quietly discontinued in April 2022, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F is now making a comeback, and reservations are now available.
What’s new in the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F?
The design of the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F will be nearly identical to that of its predecessor. However, new color schemes, including a Carbon edition, are likely. The same 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, FI engine that produces 20 bhp and 18.5 Nm of torque and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox will power the Pulsar 220F. However, the motor will be now OBD-2 compliant.
Hardware and features of the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F
The Pulsar 220F has simple foundations, but they work in its favor. The front forks are telescopic, and the rear shock absorbers are dual spring-loaded gas-charged shock absorbers. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both ends, with a single-channel ABS as standard. The Pulsar 220F will continue to receive a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Price and competitors for the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F
According to leaked reports, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F’s last recorded price was Rs 1.34 lakh, and the new MY2023 model is expected to cost less than Rs 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom. It will compete with the Yamaha R15 V4, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Suzuki Gixxer SF, and others.
