Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has sent out invitations to the media for the introduction of a new motorcycle. The official teaser video is titled “Witness the Return of the Legend,” and it is clear that it will be the return of the classic Karizma nameplate. On August 29, 2023, the all-new Hero Karizma XMR 210 will be released in India.
What can we expect from the 2023 Hero Karizma XMR 210?
The Karizma XMR 210 has already been shown to dealers, and leaked photographs suggest that this fully-faired motorcycle will have sporty appearance. It will have all-LED headlamps, a powerful fuel tank, a split seat configuration, a stubby exhaust, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and disc brakes on both ends with likely dual-channel ABS.
2023 Hero Karizma XMR 210: Engine and gearbox
A completely new single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine will power the 2023 Hero Karizma XMR 210. It will be Hero’s first liquid-cooled motorbike with a trellis frame. While the power ratings have not been published, it is expected to produce more than 20 horsepower and be coupled to a 5- or 6-speed manual transmission.
2023 Hero Karizma XMR 210: Price and Competition
The company’s flagship fully-faired motorbike will be the all-new Hero Karizma XMR 210. It is estimated to cost between Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.60 lakh ex-showroom. When it is released, the Karizma XMR 210 will compete with the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Yamaha R15 V4, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, and others.
