Yamaha updated its entire lineup of motorcycles, including the FZ-X, MT-15, FZ-S, and R15. New features and cosmetic upgrades have been added to the motorcycles. Here are all of the R15updates. M’s
2023 Yamaha R15M: Price
The price for the new Yamaha R15 has been increased by Rs. 2,500 and it now costs Rs. 1,93,900, ex-showroom.
2023 Yamaha R15M: New TFT screen
The most noticeable difference between the R15M and the previous LCD unit is the addition of a new instrument cluster. Aside from the new appearance, the new TFT screen supports day and night modes. It also includes Bluetooth connectivity with SMS and call alerts, which was previously available with the LCD cluster. Despite the additions, the bike still lacks turn-by-turn navigation, which is critical in today’s day and age, especially at this price point.
2023 Yamaha R15M: Design
The 2023 Yamaha R15M has received no significant cosmetic updates, and even the color options have remained unchanged. The R15M is available in a single color scheme and costs Rs. 1.93 lakh, but it comes standard with LED turn indicators. The motorcycle appears sharper than before, as it previously had halogen turn indicators.
2023 Yamaha R15M: Engine
The 2023 Yamaha R15M is now OB2 compliant, like the rest of the lineup, and the engine receives no other changes. The R15M is powered by a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 155cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) that generates 18.14 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The gearbox in use is a 6-speed with a quick shifter and slipper clutch.
