Kia India is preparing to launch the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift in India. The Sonet is one of India’s best-selling small SUVs and one of Kia’s top volume drivers. Following its launch, the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift will compete with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV300. The deliveries of the 2024 Sonet will begin in January. However, the deliveries of the diesel MT variants will begin in February.
2024 Kia Sonet facelift variants
The 2024 Sonet has four trims — HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+ and X-Line. The vehicle is available in 19 variants in all.
2024 Kia Sonet facelift engine and transmission
The Smartstream G1.2-litre petrol (83PS/115Nm), Smartstream G1.0-litre T-Gdi petrol (120PS/172Nm), and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel (116PS/250Nm) engines are available for the 2024 Sonet. 5-speed MT with 1.2 petrol, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT with 1.0 turbo petrol, and 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, and 6-speed AT with 1.5 diesel are among the transmission options. The 1.5 diesel now comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.
2024 Kia Sonet facelift features
Six airbags, LED sound-ambient lighting, integrated 10.25-inch HD touchscreen navigation and 10.25-inch instrument cluster panel, and surround vision monitor are among the features of the 2024 Sonet. It includes 25 safety features, including a hi-safety package of 15 and ADAS features of 10. There are over 70 linked car functions available.
