Actor-politician Rajinikanth today announced that he won’t be getting into politics due to his health causes. This comes only a day after he was discharged from the hospital where he was admitted following the fluctuations in his blood pressure. Earlier this month, the celebrity had announced that he’ll launch a political party in January 2021.
Rajinikanth had stated that the announcement of his political party would be made on December 31. “We will work hard and register a victory,” he had stated. This had come three years after he announced his entry into politics on December 31, 2017. He had confirmed his intention that he would contest the state assembly election due in 2021.
In his three-page statement, Rajinikanth at present expressed fears for these accompanying him in his political journey and stated that he didn’t need to make a victim of his supporters now. “Therefore, I inform with great regret I’m unable to come to politics by floating a political party. Only I know the pain behind making this announcement,” the actor stated.
At the time of announcing his entry in 2017, Rajinikanth had stated that all was not well with the forces ruling Tamil Nadu. He had stated {that a} complete overhaul was required within the governance system and that his party would do this. He additionally stated that his party would give up if its promises weren’t fulfilled within three years of coming into power.
