Odisha on Saturday reported 779 new positive cases of Covid-19, out of which 105 are between the age of 0-18 years.
With a total of 71,137 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stands at 1.09%.
Among the new cases, 454 are in quarantine and 325 are local contacts. With this, the total number of positive cases in Odisha now stands at 1005654.

Odisha confirms another 68 deaths due to Covid-19 by the Health & Family Welfare Department on Saturday.
Among the deceased persons, 1 each is from the districts of Boudh and Puri; 2 from Nayagarh; 3 each from Balasore, Bhadrak, and Dhenkanal; 5 each from Angul and Mayurbhanj; 6 from Jagatsinghpur; 7 each from Kendrapara and Khordha; and 25 from Cuttack.
