Kiev: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he spoke with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier separately.
According to Xinhua, Zelensky tweeted that he discussed future joint international legal events as well as issues of defensive support for Ukraine during his talks with Johnson.
The Ukrainian president expressed gratitude to Johnson for speaking to the Ukrainian parliament earlier this week.
Zelensky described his conversation with Steinmeier as “good, constructive, and important.”
The Ukrainian president stated that he informed his German counterpart of the situation on the frontlines, particularly in Mariupol, and expressed hope that Germany’s support for Ukraine would be increased.
