Motorola is set to launch the standard Edge 30 smartphone in India on May 12. The smartphone was first unveiled in the international market last month. The tipster also claims that a bank offer of Rs 2,000 will be made, bringing the price down to Rs. 25,999. He did not, however, mention the storage/RAM configuration. The most likely price is for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone is expected to have an additional 8GB + 256GB storage model.
Motorola Edge 30 Specifications
Motorola has already confirmed that the upcoming Edge 30 will be India’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 778G+. Furthermore, the device is billed as the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone and the lightest 5G phone in India. Aside from that, Motorola revealed that the phone will have a 144Hz pOLED display and a 50MP main lens. The Motorola Edge 30 will also have a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The device will have a 32MP selfie camera sensor on the front. The display will be 6.5 inches in size and will have FHD+ resolution.
Furthermore, the device will ship with the Android 12-based MyUX skin and Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers. The device will be powered by a 4,020 mAh battery and will support 33W TurboPower fast charging. 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity will be available.
The sale date has not yet been announced. The brand has confirmed, however, that the upcoming Motorola Edge 30 will be available for purchase through Flipkart and other leading retail outlets across the country.
