Beginning May 16, fans of the ‘KGF’ franchise can get early access to the blockbuster film before digital subscriptions with Prime Video’s newly launched ‘Movie Rentals.’ Movie Rentals, an expansion of Prime Video’s entertainment marketplace offering, allows Prime members and anyone who is not yet a Prime member to enjoy early rental access to the latest Indian and international films, as well as a rich catalogue of popular films from around the world.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films and directed by Prashanth Neel. It stars an ensemble cast led by superstar Yash, as well as Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Easwari Rao, Achyuth Kumar, and Archana Jois, among others.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’, the pan-India blockbuster, is now available to rent on Amazon Prime Video, India’s most popular entertainment platform. Fans of the ‘KGF’ franchise can get early access to the blockbuster film with Movie Rentals on Prime Video, prior to digital subscription.

Beginning today, moviegoers – both Prime members and those who are not yet Prime members – can rent the film on Prime Video for Rs 199 and enjoy this pan-India blockbuster from the comfort of their own homes. The film will be available for rent in HD quality in five languages: Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

In addition to ‘KGF: Chapter 2,’ viewers can rent the most recent Indian and international films, as well as a large selection of popular films (award winners and franchises) from around the world.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is a sequel to the 2018 film ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ and follows Rocky, whose name now evokes fear in the blood-soaked Kolar Gold Fields. While his allies hold him in high regard, the government regards him as a threat to law and order. Rocky must face threats from all sides in order to maintain unrivalled dominance. He is a hero and the people of Narachi’s saviour. In order to keep his promise to his mother, he must overcome numerous obstacles, including Adheera, Inayat Khalil, and Ramika Sen.

In addition to Yash, the film stars Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Easwari Rao, Achyuth Kumar, and Archana Jois.

K.G.F: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.

The addition of Movie Rentals to Prime Video is an extension of the company’s entertainment marketplace offering, giving customers in India at-home, theater-like early access to films. Moviegoers across the country can rent the latest Indian and international blockbusters before they become available for digital subscription. Furthermore, Movie Rentals on Prime Video include titles other than those available with Prime Subscription, increasing customer selection and choice.

Customers will be able to rent ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ on Prime Video for just Rs 199. The rental destination is accessible via the STORE tab on primevideo.com as well as the Prime Video app on Android smart phones, smart-TVs, connected STBs, and the Fire TV stick.

Once playback begins, customers have 48 hours to finish the film. Customers have 30 days from the date of purchase to begin watching the film.
