Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: The BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 fell more than 2.5 percent each on Thursday, a day of weekly F&O expiry, adding to a sharp global selloff.
The BSE Sensex fell 1,416 points, or 2.6%, to 52,792.23, giving up 53000 levels. While the NSE Nifty 50 index fell 430 points, or 2.65%, to finish at 15,809.40.
On the S&P BSE Sensex, 28 of 30 stocks finished in the red, led by HCL Technologies, Reliance Industries (RIL), Infosys, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
On the other hand, ITC and Dr.Laboratories Reddy’s finished in the black, gaining 3.5% and 0.8%, respectively.
