Share Market Highlights: Sensex ends in red, Nifty at 15780

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: Benchmarks for the domestic equity market The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 closed in the red on Thursday, a day of weekly and monthly F&O expiry.

The BSE Sensex fell 8 points to 53,019, while the Nifty 50 fell 19 points to 15780. Top index draggers included Tech Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Tech, M&M, and HDFC. Axis Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), Kotak Mahindra Bank, NTPC, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries Ltd, and L&T, on the other hand, were among the top BSE Sensex gainers. On the sectoral front, the Nifty Bank index gained 0.5 percent to close at 33,425.10 points.
