Oppo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is set to launch new smartphones in India in its camera-focused Reno series. The Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro, the successor to the Reno 7 series, will be released on July 18 at 6 p.m. The smartphones, which are available in the company’s home country of China, are powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors. The Reno 8 series models for India are expected to have specifications and features similar to the international models. Here are the specifics:
OPPO Reno 8: Expected specifications
The Reno 8 will reportedly have a 6.43-inch fullHD+ AMOLED screen. It will almost certainly be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery and the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset. It will be available in two color themes: shimmer black and shimmer gold.
The Reno 8 is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, along with dual 2MP sensors, and a 32MP camera sensor on the front for selfies and video calling. The Reno 8 will most likely cost between Rs 28,000 and Rs 34,000.
OPPO Reno 8 Pro: Expected specifications
The Pro model will have a 6.70-inch fullHD+ AMOLED screen, a 4,500 mAh battery, and a MediaTek Dimensity 1800 chipset. The phone will be available in two color schemes: glazed black and glazed green. It will reportedly have a 50MP main camera powered by OPPO’s custom-made Mari Silicon imaging chip, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP sensor. The Pro version is expected to have a 32MP camera on the front.The model is expected to be priced between Rs 42,000 and Rs 46,000.
