Share Market Highlights: Sensex ends 87 pts down, Nifty settled at 16,216

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: On Monday, the domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 finished flat with a negative bias.

The S&P BSE Sensex fell 87 points, or 0.16 percent, to 54,395, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 4 points to 16216. Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), HCL Tech, Infosys, Wipro, HUL, and State Bank of India (SBI) stocks all finished 5% lower. Tata Steel, on the other hand, was the top BSE Sensex gainer, followed by M&M, Dr Reddy’s, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and Reliance Industries. The India VIX closed 0.14 percent lower at 18.37.
