Share Market Highlights: Sensex ends higher at 515 pts, Nifty tops 17,600

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 finished nearly 1% higher on Thursday, a weekly F&O expiry day. The BSE Sensex rose 515 points, or 0.9%, to 59,333, while the NSE Nifty 50 rose 124 points, or 0.7%, to 17,659. Top index gainers included Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, State Bank of India (SBI), and ICICI Bank. On the other hand, ITC, NTPC, HUL, Maruti, and Bharti Airtel stocks limited the index’s gains.
