On Thursday, Xiaomi launched the Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi Notebook Pro in India as part of the Smarter Living 2022 event. Under Xiaomi’s Mi brand, the new laptops will join the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition. They are powered by 11th Generation Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics and are available in a variety of configurations. The 15.6-inch Mi NoteBook Ultra and 14-inch Mi NoteBook Pro are available in a single color and have a slim and light design. In addition, the laptops have a backlit keyboard and a taller 16:10 aspect ratio display.

Both laptops are equipped with two 11th Generation Intel Core processors: a Core i5-11300H clocked at 4.4GHz (Turbo Boost up to 5GHz) and a Core i7-11370H clocked at 4.8GHz (Turbo Boost up to 5GHz). The Mi NoteBook Ultra starts at Rs. 59,999 and comes with a Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM. The Core i5 processor and 16GB of RAM are available for Rs. 63,999. Finally, the Intel Core i7 processor model with 16GB of RAM costs Rs. 76,999.
The Mi NoteBook Pro starts at Rs. 56,999 and comes with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM. A Core i5 + 16GB RAM model is also available for Rs. 59,999. The most expensive model is the Core i7 + 16GB RAM model, which costs Rs. 72,999.
Both the Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro will be available in Lustrous Grey in India beginning August 31 through Mi.com, Amazon, and Mi Home stores, with retail outlets following soon after. A cashback offer with HDFC Bank credit card and EMI transaction worth up to Rs. 4,500 off Core i7 models and up to Rs. 3,500 off Core i5 variants will also be available.

The Mi NoteBook Ultra is made of Series 6 Aluminum. It has a 15.6-inch 3,200,000-pixel Mi-Truelife+ display with 16:10 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 300 nits peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage, TUV Rheinland low blue light certification, and DC dimming and runs Windows 10 Home. The screen-to-body ratio on the laptop is 89 percent, and there is an HD webcam on top. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-11370H processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics. It has up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM that runs at 3,200MHz and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage.
Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, a Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity options on the Mi NoteBook Ultra. Two 2W speakers with DTS Audio processing handle audio. The power button also functions as a fingerprint scanner, and the backlit scissor keyboard has three brightness levels and 1.5mm of travel. According to Xiaomi, the trackpad is 62 percent larger than the previous Mi Notebook model and supports Windows gestures. The Mi NoteBook Ultra has a claimed 12-hour battery life, thanks to its 70Whr battery. With a 65W charger, it also supports USB Type-C charging. The laptop is 17.9mm thick and 1.7kg in weight.

The Mi NoteBook Pro has a 14-inch 2.5K (2,5601,600 pixel) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage, TUV Rheinland low blue light certification, and DC dimming. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor of the 11th generation with Iris Xe graphics. It has 512GB of SSD storage and up to 16GB of RAM. The Mi NoteBook Pro also has the same connectivity and audio options as the Mi NoteBook Ultra. Its 56Whr battery is said to provide an 11-hour battery life. The laptop is only 1.4kg and 17.3mm thick.
Both Mi NoteBook models come with Windows 10, which can be upgraded to Windows 11. They also come pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home 2019.
