Share Market Highlights: Sensex falls 843 pts; Nifty end below 17,000

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 finished 1.5% lower on Tuesday, as the sell-off continued. The BSE Sensex fell 844 points, or 1.5 percent, to 57147, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 257 points, or 1.5 percent, to 16984. Top index draggers included IndusInd Bank, Nestle India, Tata Steel, Infosys, HCL Tech, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Maruti Suzuki, NTPC, and TCS. Axis Bank and Asian Paints, on the other hand, were the only gainers on the BSE Sensex.
