Covid-19: India reports 811 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours; Active caseload over 13000

According to Union Health Ministry data updated on Wednesday, India recorded 811 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 4,46,62,952, with 13,559 active cases.
The death toll has risen to 5,30,511 with two fatalities reported from Maharashtra, according to data updated at 8 a.m. According to the ministry website, active cases account for 0.03 percent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.78 percent.
In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload has decreased by 462 cases.
The number of people who have recovered from the disease has risen to 4,41,18,882, with a case fatality rate of 1.19 percent. According to the ministry’s website, 219.75 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive.
