Share Market Highlights: Nifty, Sensex end range bound day mildly in red

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: After a strong start, Indian benchmark indices ended the day in the red, with the Nifty settling at 18,157. The BSE Sensex fell 150 points, or 0.25 percent, to 61,033. The NSE Nifty 50 finished 46 points lower. The top Nifty gainers were Adani Ports, Coal India, ITC, Hero Motocorp, and Dr Reddy, while the top losers were Shree Cement, Grasim Industries, Divi’s Lab, Powergrid, and Hindalco. Nifty Pharma and Nifty Realty dragged the index down the most, falling more than 1%. Nifty Metal fell just short of a percent. The Nifty Bank, Nifty FMCG, and Nifty PSU Banks gained the most and finished the day in the green. Broader markets also finished the day in the red.
