Temperatures in various parts of Odisha have been steadily falling over the last few days. The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Department predicts that this trend will likely continue for the next few days. The drop in temperature has been a welcome relief for the state’s residents.
The MeT forecasts a three to four degree drop in temperature over the next four to five days. The weather will be mostly dry, with fog expected in the early morning.
Temperatures in various districts of Odisha have already dropped below 20 degrees Celsius.
The coldest temperature ever recorded in the state was in Barakamuda, which is located within the Similipal Forest Reserve in Karanjia. The lowest temperature ever recorded has been 12 degree celsius.
