Share Market Highlights: Sensex ends 248 pts up, Nifty above 18400 amid mixed global cues

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: After trading flat for the majority of the session, Indian benchmark indices rallied sharply in the final hour of trading, fueled by buying support in index heavyweights such as ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, and Infosys. The S&P BSE Sensex, which had earlier reached a low of 61,437, rose to a high of 61,956, up 519 points from the day’s low. The 30-share index finished the day up 249 points at 61,873. The NSE Nifty 50 finished 74 points higher at 18,403. Automobile, oil and gas, and bank indexes all increased by 0.5-1%. Broader indices, on the other hand, underperformed the main indices, with midcap and smallcap indices finishing flat.
