According to the Union Health Ministry, India registered 157 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, up from 196 the day before.
During the same time period, no Covid deaths were reported.
The active caseload currently stands at 3,421 cases, accounting for 0.01 percent of all positive cases in the country.
Weekly and daily positivity rates were 0.18 and 0.32 percent, respectively.
The recovery of 163 patients in the last 24 hours increased the total to 4,41,43,342. As a result, India’s recovery rate is 98.8 percent.
During the same time period, 49,464 tests were carried out across the country, bringing the total to more than 90.99 crore.
97,622 vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 inoculation coverage exceeded 220.06 crore as of Tuesday morning.
