Share Market Highlights: Sensex falls 180 pts, Nifty settles above 18100

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Equity indices ended Thursday’s quiet session in the red, reflecting weak sentiment in global markets. The NSE Nifty 50 closed above 18,100 points, while the BSE Sensex fell below 60,900 points. The 30-share BSE benchmark ended 187.31 points or 0.31% lower at 60,858.43 after trading in the range of 60,716.55 – 61,032.47. The Nifty 50 fell 57.50 points, or 0.32%, to close at 18,107.85. Coal India, ONGC, UPL, BPCL, and Tata Steel were the top gainers on the Nifty, while Adani Enterprises, Asian Paints, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, and Adani Ports were the top losers.
