Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Stock Prices Highlights: Domestic indices finished the week in the green. The NSE Nifty 50 gained 114.45 points, or 0.67%, to 17,100.05, while the BSE Sensex gained 355.06 points, or 0.62%, to 57,989.90. The Bank Nifty rose 465.50 points, or 1.19%, to 39,598.10. HCL Tech, Hindalco, UltraTech Cement, UPL, and JSW Steel were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while Eicher Motors, NTPC, Maruti, ITC, and Power Grid were the top losers.
US market concludes in postive territory
The US market ended the overnight session in the positive territory with Dow Jones Industrial Average surging 1.17%, S&P 500 climbing 1.76% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq skyrocketing 2.48%.
Asian markets trade higher
Asian markets were trading in green with China’s Shanghai Composite index rising 0.75%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 climbing 0.69%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng surging 0.79% and South Korea’s KOSPI advancing 0.54%.
