In the interest of farmers, the Odisha Government has updated the system for establishing and closing the grievance module under the KALIA Scheme.
According to an official press statement, the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department changed the directive with the permission of Ranendra Pratap Swain, Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Fisheries, and ARD.
The online grievance portal will be opened immediately after payment of KALIA aid for 90 days instead of 30 days, and all grievances will be verified from the field level within 45 days, according to the amended methodology.
However, the grievance portal will be activated immediately following the issuance of this decision, and in light of the next instalment of KALIA assistance, it will stay open until July 31, 2023 in respect of the release of Kharif’ 2023 assistance on 1st April 2023 and 23rd May 2023.
The above-mentioned procedures will be followed in succeeding seasons and years. This will take effect as of the date of the order’s issuance.
