Prasanth Varma’s much-anticipated superhero film Hanu Man has finally been given a release date. Hanu Man is a Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) film starring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer.
The film, produced by K Niranjan Reddy under the name of Primeshow Entertainment, is set to be released in Telugu on January 12, 2024, alongside dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.
Taking to Twitter to announce the release date of the movie, Prasanth Varma noted: “I have spent 2 years of my life on this film and ready to spend another 6 months to give you nothing but the best! 🙏🏽 #HANUMAN on JAN 12th 2024, SANKRANTHI”
“What better date for an outright family entertainer than the festival that brings us all together. Sankranthi it is 😊 *12.01.24* #HanuMan,” actor Teja Sajja wrote while sharing the poster.
In a separate post, producer Niranjan Reddy mentioned: “From Indian Ithihaas🙏 To the Worldwide Screens🔥 Brace yourselves for a breathtaking cinematic experience! #HANUMAN. GRAND RELEASE ON JAN 12th 2024, Sankranthi in 11 Languages WW💥”
According to sources, the film will tell the story of ‘Hanu Man,’ a fictional character situated in the Anjanadri village. Hanu Man’s cinematography is handled by Dasaradhi Shivendra, and the songs in the film are composed by Anudeep Dev, Hari Gowra, and Krishna Saurabh. The editing section is overseen by Sai Babu Talari.
Though the picture was meant to be released sometime this year, the premiere date was postponed to give the VFX more attention.
