The wait is finally over. The teaser for Prabhas’ forthcoming action film ‘Salaar’ will be released soon. The ‘Adipurush’ star shared a new poster on social media on Monday. Prabhas shared the good news with fans via Instagram story. He captioned the poster, “#SalaarTeaser on July 6th at 5:12 AM.” #SalaarTeaserOnJuly6th.”
Prabhas is shown in the poster with his back to the camera and carrying what appears to be an axe or hammer. ‘Salaar’ is directed by Prashanth Neel of ‘KGF’ fame. Salaar’s teaser will be released at 5.12 a.m., the same time Rocky Bhai (played by Yash) drowned in KGF. Fans assumed that this meant Neel, who is directing both films, is giving a subtle clue that Salaar is in the same universe as KGF.
The film is being marketed as an all-out mass action and adventure picture shot throughout India, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The first installment of the project is already finished, and Prabhas will shortly transfer his whole attention to finishing the last installment.
While the entire team is working hard to make the picture a success, the most effort will be put into VFX, for which the producers have engaged a foreign company to complete.
Shruti Haasan also appears in the film, which will be released in five languages in India. The film also stars the talented actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, as well as a stellar ensemble cast that includes Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and others.
Prabhas recently appeared in the legendary pan-India film ‘Adipurush,’ alongside Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and Saif Ali Khan. Om Raut directed the film, which was released in theaters on June 16.
He will appear in ‘Project K,’ an action thriller starring Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan.
