Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Domestic indices set fresh all-time highs and finished the week’s last trading session in the green. The Nifty 50 rose 150.75 points, or 0.78%, to 19,564.50 after setting a fresh 52-week high of 19,595.35 intraday. The Sensex rose 502.01 points, or 0.77%, to close at 66,060.90 after setting a new intraday high of 66,159.79. Bank Nifty rose 154.25 points or 0.35% to 44,819.30, Nifty IT gained 4.45%, and Nifty Realty gained 1.16%. TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, LTIM, and HCL Tech were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while HDFC Life, Power Grid, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, UltraTech Cement, and Titan were the top losers.
US indices end in green; Nasdaq jumps over 1.5%
The US market ended Thursday’s session in green – Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) rose 0.14%, S&P 500 surged 0.85% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq soared 1.58%.
Asia markets trade higher
Asian markets were trading mostly in green– China’s Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.05%, South Korea’s KOSPI jumped 1.32%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.24%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 gained 0.04%, and Asia Dow advanced 0.44%.
