After much anticipation, the trailer for OMG 2 has finally arrived. The film, which stars Akshay Kumar as a’messenger of Shiva,’ is about a man’s fight for his son’s access to an education. Pankaj Tripathi plays the man.
The trailer begins with Lord Shiva requesting that his faithful Nandi send one of his messengers to the help of Pankaj’s Kanti Sharan Mudgal, whose kid has been expelled from school for a ‘vulgar’ deed. Kanti has filed a lawsuit in court, but he is the defendant as well as the accused. As a lawyer, Yami Gautam squares off against Kanti in court, and Shiva’s messenger directs him in the proper direction.

OMG 2, directed by Amit Rai, will compete with Sunny Deol’s upcoming action flick Gadar 2 in the Bollywood box office. Since the film’s posters and trailer were released, OMG 2 has remained under the radar. According to several sources, the censor board put the picture on hold because the committee wanted to be extra cautious due to the film’s religious content.
OMG 2 is a sequel to OMG: Oh My God, which starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. Akshay played the role of Lord Krishna in the original film. Last month, the film’s creators released a one-minute-and-26-second teaser, revealing a glimpse of OMG 2’s world.
The trailer was supposed to launch on Wednesday but was delayed out of respect for art director Nitin Desai, who was found dead earlier in the day. Akshay shared the update via a social media post. “Unbelievably sad to know about the demise of Nitin Desai. He was a stalwart in production design and such a big part of our cinema fraternity. He worked on so many of my films… this is a huge loss. Out of respect, we are not releasing the OMG 2 trailer today. Will launch it tomorrow at 11am. Om Shanti,” he tweeted.
