The makers teased on Monday that action will speak louder than words as they released a new poster for Ranbir Kapoor’s much-anticipated Animal and announced the teaser release date.
Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, well known for his work on the Telugu smash Arjun Reddy and its Hindi version Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The trailer for Animal will be released on September 28, which is also Ranbir’s birthday.
The statement was made with the release of a new poster, which shows Ranbir in a never-before-seen style, complete with long hair and beard, holding a lighter, and smoking a cigarette. The poster reads “superstar Ranbir Kapoor” and includes the teaser’s time and date: The 28th of September, 10 AM.
The official page of the film tweeted the poster and captioned, “He is elegant 🕶️… He is Wild…🪓 You will see his rage on September 28th.” The new poster is in contrast to the film’s first look, which had featured Ranbir in a rugged avatar, holding an axe with blood all over his body.

The “classic saga” gangster action film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri. Animal will be released on December 1st in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Cine1 Studios’ Murad Khetani, and Bhadrakali Pictures’ Pranay Reddy Vanga produce Animal.
The film was supposed to be released on August 11, however it was pushed back owing to awaiting postproduction work. Animal will be Ranbir Kapoor’s second film of the year, following his romantic comedy Tu Jhooti Main Makkar.
