On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s request, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) began the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ (cleanliness is service) campaign on Sunday as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
The cleanliness program was enthusiastically supported by senior leaders and all staff. Cleaning areas like Motibagh Vegetable Market, Ramakrishnapuram, and Sector-1 was also done by NGOs and local Delhi municipal staff.
NCB’s subordinate offices actively participated in cleaning drives at a total of 54 locations as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiative.
The campaign’s goal is to increase awareness and inspire voluntary actions to maintain the nation clean in the future, including places in and around one’s own neighborhood.
