The Indian Speed Skating team of Sanjana Bathula, Karthika Jagadeeswaran, Heeral Sadhu, and Aarathy Kasturi Raj won bronze in the 3000 m relay finals at the Asian Games on Monday, posting a time of 4:34.861.
The Indian quartet finished third in the race in 4 minutes and 34.861 seconds. Chinese Taipei won gold with a time of 4 minutes and 19.447 seconds, while South Korea took silver with a timing of 4 minutes and 21.146 seconds.
Meanwhile, the Indian men’s quarter of Aryanpal Singh Ghuman, Anandkumar Velkumar, Siddhant Kamble, and Vikram Ingale won another bronze medal in the men’s team relay with a time of 4:10.128.
South Korea (4:05.702) and Chinese Taipei (4:05.692) were in first and second positions respectively.
