Odisha CM Inaugurates 361 Transformed Schools In 5 Dists

On Saturday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik opened 361 remodeled schools in five districts—Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Rayagada, and Balangir—during the third day of the campaign’s fourth phase.

105 high schools in the Mayurbhanj district, 63 in Sambalpur, 33 in Nuapada, 60 in Rayagada, and 100 in Balangir are among the changed schools.

It is noteworthy that the state has previously undergone three phases of transformation for 6883 schools. In the fourth phase, 1794 transformed high schools will be opened. The state will have converted 8677 schools in total after this phase is finished.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed gratitude to the legislators, Panchayat delegates, school administrators, instructors, pupils, and parents  of the concerned districts for their cooperation in this program.

Addressing the students on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that now government schools are the best medium for building a bright future for the children. The Chief Minister advised the children to make good use of the transformed school and study well to build a bright future for themselves.

The Chief Minister also said that the era of transformation is going on in Odisha. Education is what elevates the collective mindset of our society. He said that the transformation of schools has paved the way for the new awakening among the Odia people. Starting from schools, colleges, hospitals, tourist spots, monasteries, temples, panchayats, villages, the work of transformation is going on everywhere. This transformation is paving the way for a new Odisha, a empowered Odisha. The Chief Minister further said that the most important and best among these transformation programs is the school transformation program. The future of a race is built from schools.

Addressing the children, the Chief Minister said that smart classrooms, computers, state-of-the-art laboratories have been provided in your school in this transformation program under the 5T initiative. This is the application of technology. Similarly, everyone is working together through teamwork. All work is being done transparently after discussion with everyone. This has transformed your schools which you see and feel now.

Highlighting the future of children, the Chief Minister said that 15 percent seats have been reserved in medical and engineering colleges for children passing out from government schools. There has been a lot of improvement in the education of children in government schools. Now there is enthusiasm among children to study in government schools.

The Chief Minister appealed to the children and said that you should apply the 5T principle in your life. It will bring you success. Try to learn new technologies. Work together. The Chief Minister further said that teamwork has a special role in the field of sports. Honesty and integrity are the best virtues of human life. Strive to practice integrity in all aspects of life. Time is the most precious thing for you. Don’t waste time. Following these four principles will lead to success and transformation in life.

Participating in the program, V Kartik Pandian, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, stated that at first, school transformation seemed like a dream. He stated, “It has been a tremendous success in teamwork with the cooperation of MLAs, Panchayat representatives, school management committees, and parents.” He praised everyone. He emphasized the need of maintaining the remodeled schools and asked for everyone’s help in doing so.

This time, kids talked about their experiences with the 5T school transformation in a variety of settings. Class IX students Aryasuta Pradhan from the Mayurbhanj district, Gupteswar Nag from Rayagada, Priyadarsini Tandi from Nuapada, and Santanu Rana from Balangir shared their opinions, stating that the school change has created a perfect opportunity for their studies. The 5T initiative has changed our school’s outlook.

In this program, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of School and Mass Education Department Aswathy S. gave the welcome speech and Special Project Director of OSEPA proposed the vote of thanks. Development Commissioner, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and other senior officers of various departments were present during the program.​
