In many areas of Odisha, light to moderate rain and dense to shallow fog persisted on Tuesday morning. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that the current weather will probably hold steady until January 25.
There were a few locations in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Sonepur, and Boudh that saw light to moderate rain or thundershowers this morning. There were also one or two locations in south Odisha, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, and Bargarh. Simultaneously, there were one or two locations of intense fog in Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Sambalpur, which greatly decreased visibility.
