Hrithik, Siddharth, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi watched the film yesterday and surprised fans present at the theatre. Hrithik shared a video of the fans cheering for them and wrote, “And it’s done! This is why I do what I do. So happy seeing these smiling faces. Thank you so much for all the love.”
Hrithik was last seen in the film Vikram Vedha also starring Saif Ali Khan. Fighter marks Hrithik’s fifth-highest opener after War, Bang Bang, Krrish 3, and Agneepath. Fighter brings Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan together for the first time. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
Siddharth recently reacted to the film being termed ‘anti-Pakistan’. According to India Today, he said, “When it comes to the trailer, you do put out a few lines. You cannot play out the whole film. Then why will you go to the theatre? You do raise some questions, some sparks so that people can come and watch the film. Hence, our trailer has serviced exactly that motive. So, in a way, I am happy it’s done that. It’s made them inquisitive, and I would tell them to come to theatres, and all your questions would be answered.”
