The dynamic V30 Pro and V30, Vivo’s newest high-end smartphones, are being unveiled, and they both have impressive photographic capabilities.
Since the cameras appear to be the standout feature of these Vivo flagships, let’s get right into it. A powerful triple camera system is a feature of the high-end V30 Pro. Along with a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom for portraiture, you also get a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization.
The first triple 50MP camera system in the lineup is exclusive to Android premium phones.
Not to be outdone, the basic V30 sports a 50MP ultrawide camera to support its own adaptable triple array, which is spearheaded by the same 50MP primary shooter. The sole compromise is a 2MP macro/depth lens instead of the Pro’s specialized telephoto lens.
With identical 50MP selfie cameras on the front, both phones showcase their photographic prowess. Either the front or rear devices may record video at up to 4K 30 frames per second.
The V30 Pro is powered by an effective 4nm process-built Dimensity 8200 microprocessor. The 6.78-inch display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1260p. It also reaches a max brightness of 2800 nits.
The regular V30 makes some compromises in order to come in at a lower cost. It keeps the same 6.78-inch AMOLED panel but changes out the top-tier CPU for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.
Other common highlights are IP54 dust/splash resistance, Android 14 with Vivo’s FunTouch 14 overlay, large 5,000mAh batteries with fast 80W cable charging capability, and more. Sub-6 5G connection is also supported by both.
Vivo offers the phones in multiple RAM and storage combinations. The Pro can have up to 12GB of RAM combined with up to 512GB of lightning-fast UFS 3.1 storage, while the V30 can only have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The starting price for the non-Pro model is Rs 33,999, while the Pro model is Rs 41,999.
