Students unsatisfied with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2024 results can now apply for verification of marks. Apart from the verification of marks by CBSE Class 12, pupils have the option to request photocopies of their answer papers and reassessment. May 21 is the deadline for applications for CBSE Class 12 verification. Students must apply via the cbse.gov.in website online.
On May 13, the CBSE Class 12 results were made public. A total of 14,26,420 students out of the 16,21,224 who took the board test passed it. At 87.98 percent, this year’s overall pass rate is reported. There are 1,22,170 pupils who are classified as compartmentalized learners.
“Candidates applying for verification of marks will only be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer book. Candidates who have applied and obtained photocopy of answer book will only be eligible to apply for re-evaluation,” the board said.
The board said that all the processes including application and fee payment will be held online and a decrease in scores even by one mark will be affected. In case of a change in scores, students will have to surrender the Class 12 marksheets 2024, and new ones will be issued.
