CBSE 2025 Exams: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 10 and Class 12 practical exam dates for the 2025 board exams. The practical exams, project work, and internal assessments for the 2024-25 academic session will begin on January 1, 2025, for all CBSE-affiliated schools in India and overseas.
The theory examinations will start on February 15, 2025. However, a detailed CBSE datesheet is still expected.
To assist schools in conducting the practical exams efficiently, the board has also provided a list of Class 10 and 12 courses along with their marks distribution. The board issued the circular after noticing that schools were posting internal marks incorrectly.
CBSE provides information such as class, subject code, and subject name, as well as maximum marks for theory exams, practical exams, project assessments, and internal assessments. The CBSE circular also specifies if an external examiner will be appointed for CBSE practical exam evaluation, whether students will be given with practical answer books, and the sort of answer books that will be utilized in theory exams.
CBSE announced that the maximum number of marks awarded to a subject will be 100, with marks divided across theory, practical, project, and internal assessment components.
“All may note for information and action to avoid any inconvenience to the students at later stages. Also ensure that correct marks are uploaded. Marks once uploaded will not be changed,” a statement on the CBSE circular read.
