The annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examinations, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), began today.
According to sources, a total of 5,12,437 pupils are taking the tests at 3,029 centers throughout 30 districts of the state. The board exams began at 9:00 AM and will end at 11:30 AM.
The BSE has made great preparations to ensure the smooth operation of the tests. To avoid cheating, the BSE devised a four-tier squad structure and placed CCTV cameras in all exam centers. In addition, as part of the board’s efforts to avoid examination misconduct, live streaming facilities have been set up in around 600 centers.
To avoid question paper leaks, QR codes and serial numbers are inserted on each page, adjacent to each question. This will allow authorities to trace the origins of any leaked question papers.
