Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has now issued the admission announcement for the academic year 2025-26. Parents who wish to apply for admission for their children should visit the official website at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
Candidates should be aware that the Sangathan application is not considered submitted, and the application data will not be viewable until they get an application submission code from the online admission portal. Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Dates
–The online application process for KVS Class 1 and Balvatika (Levels 1, 2, and 3) will open on March 7, from 10 am onwards and will close on March 21 at 10 pm.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Documents
— A valid mobile number with Indian SIM card
— A valid email address
— A digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission to KVS (JPEG file of size at most 256KB)
— A scan copy of the child’s birth certificate along with address proof and caste certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size),
— Details of government certificate in case you are applying under economically weak section,
— Transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be used in the application
The admission application for KVS form is divided into five sections, each organised and presented under a separate tab. The following are the different section/tab headings: basic information, parents’ details, choice of schools, upload documents, declaration and submit.
To apply for admission in the Single Girl Child category, please fill out the online application form and upload the needed documentation, just like any other application. There is no need to contact the Principal of the Vidyalaya (where the child wishes to enroll) personally in this scenario.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Age
According to the official announcement, the minimum age for enrollment to Class 1 is six years. The age of all classes will be determined as of March 31, 2025. Seat bookings will adhere to the KVS Admission Guidelines for the 2025-26 school year. Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 will have age requirements of 3 to 4 years, 4 to 5 years, and 5 to 6 years as of March 31, 2025.
