The Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) will be held in two sittings on September 27, according to a notification released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Saturday.
The first sitting of the exam, which was previously cancelled owing to a question paper leak, will be held from 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., with the second sitting from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The admission cards for the Special OTET will be made available for download on the official website beginning September 17.
The BSE of Odisha has stated that there will be no changes to the test centres. “The Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (SOTET), 2025 for Paper-I & Paper II categories which was postponed, vide Notification No.610 (Secret) Dt.19.07.2025 shall be conducted on Dt. 27.09.2025 (Saturday) as per the timing given,” according to the BSE announcement.
“The Examination Centre shall remain same. Admit Card shall be made available on the website www.bseodisha.ac.in from Dt.17.09.2025,” it further read.
Earlier, the Special OTET 2025, scheduled to be held on August 31, was postponed again. BSE said the examination was deferred due to unavoidable circumstances.
