Stock Market Close Highlights today, October 13, 2025: The Indian benchmarks Sensex and Nifty finished down on Monday, snapping a two-day gaining streak. The drop coincided with weakness across Asia after US President Donald Trump threatened China with “restrictive” taxes on Friday night. On the BSE, Tata Motors, Infosys, HUL, and Power Grid were among the top losers, while Adani Ports, Bajaj Twins, NTPC, and Axis Bank were among the top gainers. Nifty IT and FMCG were the biggest losses, down 0.78 and 0.9%, respectively.
In contrast, the Nifty Financial Services index rose 0.35 percent.
In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap 100 index gained 0.11 percent, while the Nifty SmallCap 100 index fell 0.17 percent.
