The laptop is the most recent Pro model and provides 3.5 times and 1.6 times higher AI and graphics performance than the MacBook Pro M4. The MacBook Pro M5’s battery backup lasts up to 24 hours. The basic 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD storage variant costs Rs 1,69,900.

Apple MacBook Pro packs the latest M5 chipset which gets a 10 core CPU and 10-core GPU. The laptop offers up to 32GB of Unified Memory along with up to 4TB of SSD storage. The device also offers 16-core Neural Engine for AI tasks. The SSD for new MacBook Pro is two times faster than older model.
The device offers 14.2-inch (3,024×1,964 pixels) display with 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate. The display panel is Liquid Retina Pro XDR and offers up to 1000nits peak brightness.
Connectivity options on the Apple MacBook Pro M5 include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI port, Thunderbolt 5 ports, MagSafe 3 charging port and SDXC card slot. When it comes to operating system, the new MacBook Pro offers macOS Tahoe (macOS 26) out-of-the-box.
When it comes to charging, the Apple MacBook Pro M5 gets 70W USB Type-C power adapter. However, buyers are free to use a 96W power adapter.
