Stock market close highlights on Monday, November 3, 2025: On Monday, Indian equities markets recovered from a two-day losing run, with gains in real estate and state-owned banks driving the tumultuous session upward.
Following an initial decline, the BSE Sensex rebounded to an intraday high of 84,127 before finishing 39 points, or 0.05 percent higher at 83,97849. The Nifty50 closed 41.25 points, or 0.16 percent higher, at 25,763.35.
On the BSE, M&M, Tata Motors PV, Eternal, SBI, and Bharti Airtel were the top gainers, while Maruti Suzuki, ITC, L&T, TCS, and BEL were major laggards.
Broader indices rose. The Nifty Midcap 100 index concluded 0.77 percent higher, while the Nifty SmallCap 100 index settled 0.72 percent higher.
Sectorally, Nifty Realty was the biggest gainer, up 2.23 percent, followed by PSU Bank (up 1.92 percent) and Pharma (up 1.20 percent).
Nifty Consumer Durables was the largest loss, down 0.29%, followed by IT (0.17%) and FMCG (0.10%).
