The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued thunderstorm warnings in many Odisha districts for tomorrow.
An orange warning has been issued for Mayurbhanj and Balasore, where isolated thunderstorms with lightning and gusting winds (50-60 kmph) are expected.
A yellow warning (Be Aware) has been issued for Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Nabarangapur, and Malkangiri, indicating the possibility of isolated thunderstorms with lightning and strong gusts (30-40 kmph).
According to the IMD forecast for March 23, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface wind (wind speeds of up to 30-40 kmph) are likely to occur in isolated locations over the districts of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar. These districts have received yellow warnings.
