MacBook Air M3 Specifications
Apple launched 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with the new M3 CPU in 2024. The new chip improves the performance and capabilities of the MacBook Air. The 13-inch MacBook Air M3 variant features an 8-core CPU and GPU, 8GB of unified memory, and 256GB of SSD storage.
The MacBook also features a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, a 1080p webcam, and MagSafe 3 charging. Other features include two Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 connections and the ability to connect two external monitors. There is also a version with 512GB of SSD storage.
The new M3 SoC includes a 16-core Neural Engine for faster on-device machine learning and an AV1 decoder for higher-quality video streaming. Apple claims that these improvements make the M3 models 60% faster than the M1 computers and 13 times faster than the fastest Intel-powered MacBook Air.
The display remains a liquid retina panel, with a resolution of 2560 x 1664 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500 nits.
