Ather 450 Apex Electric Scooter Launch: The 450 Apex, the newest electric scooter from Bengaluru-based Ather Energy, was introduced on Saturday. According to cofounder and CEO Tarun Mehta, the Ather 450 Apex is a unique tenth anniversary edition of the company’s well-liked 450 platform and will be its “pinnacle.”

Ather Energy has launched the Apex 450 electric scooter in India at Rs 1.89 lakh ex-showroom. The new Ather Apex 450 will be the range-topping model in the 450 series and offers more performance compared to the 450S and the 450X.
On the design front, the Ather Apex 450 features similar styling to that of the 450S and the X, however, the biggest difference is the transparent panel over a painted orange chassis, making it stand out, combined with the bold colours.
In addition to its unique design, the Apex 450 has a slew of innovative technological features, like Magic Twist, an advancement in regenerative braking that provides 40% more braking force and operates even when the battery is fully charged. When the throttle is twisted in one direction, the Magic Twist feature helps it accelerate; when twisted in the opposite direction, it breaks.
The Ather 450 Apex is powered by the same 3.7kWh battery pack found in the 450X, but with a few modifications and the addition of the Wrap+ mode, it can accelerate to a top speed of 100 kmph from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. Ather further states that the Apex has an IDC range of 157 km and produces 210 Nm of torque at the wheel.
