Bajaj Auto is speeding up its journey toward electrification by introducing a new addition to its two-wheeler lineup. The new Chetak Premium 2023 Edition costs Rs 1.51 lakh, which is Rs 29,977 more than the standard Chetak, which costs Rs 1.21 lakh (both prices ex-showroom Bengaluru).
The new model is now available in three color options: Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue, and Satin Black. It gets a large, all-color LCD console that compares vehicle data to the previous dial. Mechanically, the e-scooter is unaltered. Cosmetic changes include a two-toned seat, body-colored rearview mirrors, a satin black grab rail, and matching pillion footrest castings. The headlamp housing, blinkers, and central trim elements are now come in lustrous Charcoal Black.
The Chetak Premium – 2023 Edition will keep its all-metal body and onboard charger.
Bajaj Auto claims to have restructured its supply chain, with several key vendor development programs making significant progress. This not only ensures the availability of over 10,000 Chetak units per month, but also lowers costs, allowing Chetak to be available to more customers.
The Chetak is currently available in more than 60 cities, and Bajaj Auto plans to expand it to 100 stores across 85 cities by the end of this month. More than 40 of these locations are exclusive Experience Centres.
