Bajaj Auto has announced a price drop for its Chetak electric scooter ahead of the upcoming festive season. The battery-powered two-wheeler is now available for Rs 1,30,000 (ex-showroom Bangalore) for a limited time. This represents a huge reduction of Rs 15,000 from the original pricing.
However, Bajaj has not yet specified the duration of this deal. In 2020, the business will revive the Chetak scooter brand in an all-electric form. Customers have given the scooter positive praise, despite the fact that the client base is small. In the future, Bajaj plans to increase the availability of Chetak to Tier 2 and Tier 3 centers.
